...... All you need to know about booking and renting a boat with Bluesail!
 
Booking

Can be made either by phone, fax or e-mail.
You will then receive a “Booking Confirmation Form” and a copy of the “Charter Contract”: both documents must be faxed back to us within 24 hours, duly filled in and signed, together with the bank receipt or copy of the cheque for the payment of 50% of the total rental price and with a copy of the skipper certificate (for bare-boat Charters). The original of the contract will be signed at the date of embarkation.

Option

You may make an option on the boat of your choice for a maximum of 24 hours. The option is free and does not involve any commitment to rent the boat. The option can be made by telephone, fax or e-mail

Payment of the price

50% of the total rental price must be paid upon confirmation by us of your booking. The remaining 50% has to be paid at the latest 30 days before the date of embarkation: in the event that the booking is made less than 30 days before the date of embarkation, you shall be required to pay the entire amount immediately.

Payment can be made by either:

• Visa / Mastercard

• A cheque in favour of “Bluesail Charter S.r.l” (sent by registered letter or International Courier)

• Bank wire-transfer to the account n. 2543 held by “Bluesail Charter s.r.l.” at Banca Popolare di Milano, agenzia 326, ABI 5584-8, CAB 03215-1.

Deposit guarantee

Must be paid on checking in at the date of embarkation (cash, cheque or VISA/Mastercard).

Extra

Any optional or additional service requested must be paid for at the time of payment of the price (see above) or at the latest at the date of embarkation. The fixed charge of 70 euros for yacht cleaning must be paid at the date of embarkation.

Embarkation and check-in

Embarkation is generally at 6.00 p.m. During the check-in, which is part of the rental time, we will check together the equipment, the supplies and the general conditions of the boat. The check-in is extremely important also for your safety: we invite you to listen carefully to all explanations given and not to hesitate to ask for any clarification you may need. After the check-in, we will complete together the rental documentation (signing of the contract, payment of deposit guarantee, additional and optional services if applicable etc.) and… you will be ready to sail !
